The few, the proud, the Maureens

ImageChef.com - Custom comment codes for MySpace, Hi5, Friendster and more
This is a test.  This is only a test.  Well not exactly a test.  I’ll tell you more later.  Maybe.

Later: Excuse the vanity plate…  I could not get the plate to work on Ning.com this morning, anyway. I don’t know if an Ohio license plate with Maureen might spread the wrong message either… because this is not about Ohio Maureens… this is about all Maureens… even Maureens outside the US.

I just created a social network on Ning.com this morning… thanks to John Lockwood in CA bringing this ability to create a social network to my attention.

What’s a social network?  You got me… I am part of one that revolves around real estate, ActiveRain.  I am also a member of LinkedIn, Facebook and MySpace… I am not at all active on MySpace.  MySpace scares me.  I can’t even share a link to my MySpace here… I will find it…

I am not that active on LinkedIn or Facebook either though…  Mostly other real estate agents  “poke me” or throw stuff at me… on Facebook.

Do you know about OpenSocial?  Ning.com is part of OpenSocial.  I first heard of OpenSocial this weekend.  Google, LinkedIn, MySpace, Ning.com, Plaxo are all part of OpenSocial (along with a lot of others…)  Scary?  You betcha.

Here’s a new social network though that I can embrace.  The Maureen Corps  - if your name is Maureen join.  Or don’t..

What’s the big idea?  It’s like MySpace but only if your name is Maureen.

    All Mo all the time?

All Mo, Moe, Reenie (or is it Reeny?) all of the time. Thanks for the comment Just Chris. Maureen Francis has joined The Maureen Corps, the social network… just by virtue of name at birth she is a member of the Maureen Corps. Now if I can get the attention of Maureen Henry and Maureen Staccato this thing could snowballl… or not.

What doesn’t the spammer agree with? I removed the link. I removed the email address so future spam won’t be approved. I wonder why it even asked me if it was spam, of course it is.

You don’t agree that I created a site on Ning.com? WRONG.

You don’t agree with “What’s the big idea? It’s like MySpace but only if your name is Maureen. ” Wrong again.

At least in that post I can see something to agree with or not agree with. PRO NAR ? Anti ActiveRain?

Jay’s blog is interesting. I think this is the entry I am waiting for Frances Flynn Thorsen to return …. and comment. I think this was the entry she promised to return to in a few days…
