I think Walter Mondale used it in his campaign against Ronald Reagan. Didn’t help him much.

I find a baked potato hard to eat while driving though.. or at least that was the excuse I talked myself into yesterday so I could order fries at Wendy’s. I like to buy their chili and drink it on the go….in the car.

I don’t believe I was ever in the original Wendy’s. We had a Wendy’s in Madison when I was in college… that was built on the main street… urban..it had no parking and I would think of the interior of the restaurant in Madison whenever I went by the original here.. glass beads… I think it was the Columbus Dispatch story that said maybe someday there would be a Wendy’s museum set up at the site. I can imagine bronze sculptures of Dave Thomas and Clara Peller… like the Mary Richards statue in the Twin Cities.
