Columbus Doo Dah Parade - 2007
Columbus Ohio’s 2007, July 4 Doo Dah Parade was a good one.
It was a good parade in my humble opinion. Satire about gas prices, oil, war… interns losing personal data…whole hard drives of info. Scooter Libby inspired a lot of people…
The usual suspects, Studio 35’s Rocky Horror troupe, Terror Park at Cooper Stadium, art cars, the Fidels (a smaller group than usual…) were all there today.
The Columbus Doo Dah Parade starts at the end…
We sat next to a woman from California here on business who enjoyed Red, White & Boom, last night. She been to a Doo Dah Parade long ago in Pasadena California.

Hi Maureen,
Loved seeing your story on your Doo Dah. I had no idea this parade was/is held in other places in the U.S. I’m in so-cal not too far from Pasadena and I’ve seen that one several times. It’s always hilarious, a real spoof on life in many ways.

I agree Anonymous it was great.
I think there are a few across the country. The Columbus parade is 20 years old but I don’t know if that includes the unofficial years as well as the official years.
