I remember the Pittsburgh zoo being just a bunch of animals in cages. Over the years I've been to zoos in Cincinnati, Los Angeles, San Antonio and of course Columbus. It seems most now do eveything they can to take care of the animals. I'm with Jack Hanna on this. Today's zoos are educational. They get people interested in preserving wildlife.
