Columbus home sales increase

I got an email from the Columbus Board of Realtors this morning that says

“The following press release will be sent to the press this morning – Thursday, July 24, 2008.

Month’s supply & inventory decrease as sales increase

(July 24, 2008) The central Ohio housing market continued to stabilize in June as the area saw it’s lowest “month’s supply” level since last summer, according to the Columbus Board of REALTORS®. “

Good news!   Increasing sales.  Decreasing inventories…. That’s good news.

On the national front… not such good news…

“Existing-Home Sales Down in June

(July 24) – After gaining in May, existing-home sales declined in June with many potential buyers on the sidelines, according to NAR.”
