“Where’s the beef?”
This Columbus redhead has no beef with the Wendy’s logo… perhaps many have no idea I have red hair… I don’t have the usual Realtor penchant for plastering my face and the mop that sits on top of it everywhere… but I do have a photo of me on MaureenMcCabe.com and on ActiveRain (a real estate social network) and I do have red hair.

Maybe I am not joining in the protest against the innacurate depiction of redheads…
because Wendy’s is local… based in Dublin Ohio.
because I have so much respect for Dave Thomas.
because at my roots I am really not a true redhead.
Last summer when I tried to go lighter red I put my hair in pigtails… trying to look like the Wendy’s logo… but my friends did not get it. Really I would rather look like the Wendy’s logo than Ronald McDonald.
Yes I do come by the pasty skin naturally and given some sun I will freckle… so maybe I am really a redhead at heart…

I’ll have to watch the video later (it’s early and the hubby is still asleep) but I have to say - what are people going to protest next??!!! This is ridiculous. It’s a CARICATURE for pete’s sake.

Not sure how I ended up here. Started at Bloodhound, then Brian’s blog and here I am and this is humorous. It does make me wonder how people have time for this. Not sure why pigtails are so bad.

pssst… Karen I think it’s a joke.. I think if you watch it you can see that it is a joke… about protest. red heads may be fair skinned but most are probably not that thin skinned.
There have been protests against Wendy’s by attention seeking, agenda promoting special interest groups who will go unnamed on this blog… a nice wholesome Columbus Ohio restaurant with a freckle faced head headed spokes logo…
Not sure if Sue is worrying about the people who did the video wasting time or posting it wasting time…. that’s web 2.0 for you….
