“It’s tough to top Columbus”

Thursday, May 31st, 2007

according to Joel Zuckerman on WorldGolf.com

Pound-for Pound, it’s tough to top Columbus:

“Columbus, Ohio, site of this week’s Memorial Tournament, is arguably America’s top golf city, particularly in the private sector.”

City sizewise has more golf. He said Columbus is the 14th largest city…. I thought 15th or 16th?

Todd Jones of the Columbus Dispatch is blogging from Muirfield this week about pounds, golfers and his…. in ‘Anyone seen my feedbag?’

The journalist blog is “Like a Rolling Jones … Riffs on Sports and Such”

This is the week, The Memorial Tournament in Dublin.

I went to the Memorial Tournament when I lived in Dayton. I am not sure I have ever been to the Memorial Tournament since moving to Columbus in 1990.

Rain is in the forecast for Central Ohio on Friday and Saturday? Surprise!
